Important to Note;

  • Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are limited and always issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Early booking is essential.
  • Gorilla permits currently cost $800 per person, and chimpanzee permits cost $250 per person.

 

 


Detailed Tour Itinerary 

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

  1. Upon Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received and welcomed by our Company Tour Guides who will later bring you to your hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight stay at;

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Visit Zziwa Rhinos Sanctuary

On rising, have breakfast and proceed with your drive to Murchison Falls NP with en-route visit to Zziwa Rhinos Sanctuary, later, have lunch and proceed to the top of the falls to view the Magnificent Murchison Falls as they squeeze through the narrow gorge. Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest park, found in Masindi, north west of Uganda.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Ride at the Bottom of the Falls

Rise early morning and engage in an amazing game drive; rewarding you with several wildlife species like giraffes, antelopes, elephants, buffalos, elephants and leopards among others. In the afternoon, have a 2 Hours Boat Ride to the bottom of the falls. Dinner and overnight at the lodge in Day 2.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National park and Visit to Crater Lakes Region

Have breakfast and get ready for a drive to Kibale Forest National Park; you will have lunch en-route. Once here, if not so tired, check in at your lodge and later take a guided walk to the Crater Lakes Region. Dinner and overnight stay at;

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking – Birding at Bigodi Sanctuary

Rise early, enjoy breakfast and at 7:00AM, head to the Kanyanchu Park Headquarters for registration and morning briefing on the Do’s and Don’ts when tracking for the habituated chimpanzees. Later, in the afternoon, you will have lunch and proceed with a guided walk through the Bigodi birding sanctuary – a birder’s paradise. Dine and rest at your lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP and Evening Boat Cruise along Kazinga Channel

After breakfast, you will set off for the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On reaching, engage in an amazing Launch Cruise along the Kazinga Channel and Evening Game Drive. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive, Journey to Bwindi National Park driving through Ishasha Sector – Batwa Pygmies’ Community Encounter 

Today, you will rise very early and with your African Coffee, will engage in an amazing game drive to get a glimpse of early risers before they go into hiding. Return midmorning, freshen up and set off for the drive to Bwindi Forest National Park; driving through the Ishasaha sector – if lucky, you can see the tree climbing lions. You will arrive late afternoon. Once here, check in at your lodge. Later, take a guided walk to the Batwa Pygmies community. Dinner and overnight stay at;

Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge/Rushaga Gorilla Haven Lodge or Similar

Day 8: Mountain Gorilla Trek – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and Relaxation

Upon rising, have breakfast and assemble at the Bwindi Forest Park Headquarters for morning briefing and registration. Later with your hiking gear, engage in the mountain gorilla trekking exercise. After this amazing encounter, return to briefing point, receive certificate of participation. After lunch, you will set off for Lake Bunyonyi for Relaxation and Sunset Boat Ride. Dinner and overnight at;

Day 9: Transfer to Mburo NP – Evening Game Drive.

After breakfast at your lodge, you will hit the road for the transfer to Lake Mburo National Park; Once here, engage in a Guided Nature Walk, have lunch and relax. In the Evening, engage in an evening Game Drive. Dinner and overnight at;

Day 10: Return to Kampala/Entebbe with En-route stopover at the Equator

Upon rising, have breakfast at leisure and Later hit the road for the drive back to Kampala/Entebbe; you will have an en-route stopover at the Equator for photography and viewing of the North and South poles. Proceed with your journey to Kampala/Entebbe and Departure.
