  • With this 6-day Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife safari , you will trek for the endangered mountain gorillas at dense jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, chimpanzees at the lush forests of Kibale Forest and wildlife viewing through the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park filled with lions, elephants, hippos, and more.

Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

On Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received and welcomed by our Company Tour Guides who will later bring you to your hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight stay at;

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park – Birding at Bigodi Sanctuary

You will begin your 6 Day Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Safari with early morning breakfast at your hotel followed with the transfer to Kibale Forest national park at 7:00AM. You will reach in the time for lunch. Later, take a guided walk to the Bigodi Birding

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP – Afternoon Launch Cruise

After breakfast, head to the Kanyanchu park offices for morning briefing and registration before embarking on the chimpanzee tracking exercise; you will be briefed about the Do’s and Don’ts when tracking for the chimpanzees and other primates.

Later, you will set off for the road trip to Queen Elizabeth NP (about 2 hours’ drive). Upon arrival, have lunch and engage in an amazing 2 hours’ launch cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will see large concentrations of wildlife along the banks of the river like hippos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, a large number of bird species. Dinner and overnight at;

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi National Park driving through Ishasha Sector.

Today, you will rise very early and with your African Coffee, will engage in an amazing game drive to get a glimpse of early risers before they go into hiding. Return midmorning, freshen up and set off for the drive to Bwindi Forest National Park; driving through the Ishasaha sector – if lucky, you can see the tree climbing lions. You will arrive late afternoon. Once here, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at;

Day 5:  Mountain Gorilla Trekking and Visit to Batwa Pygmies or Visit Ride for a Woman Women’s Center

Upon rising, have breakfast and assemble at the Bwindi Forest Park Headquarters for morning briefing and registration on the Do’s and Don’ts when hiking for the endangered mountain gorillas and will also be allocated to your gorilla family group. Later, with your hiking gear, engage in the mountain gorilla trekking exercise. After this amazing encounter, you will return to briefing point, receive certificate of participation. After lunch, take a guided walk to the Batwa Pygmies community or Visit the Ride for a Woman Center. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Day 4;

Day 6: Return to Entebbe and Departure

Have breakfast at leisure and be ready for transfer back to Kampala / Entebbe with en-route stopover at the Equator for photography and lunch. Later proceed with the drive to Kampala for drop off at your lodge for dinner and overnight.
