This 1 day Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi  starts and ends in either Kabale or Kisoro and sometimes Kigali, Rwanda.Kabale and Kisoro, both towns lie in close proximity to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

The 1 Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari package covers gorilla trekking permit at;

• $800 pp – Foreign Non-Residents,
• $700 pp – Foreign Residents, and
• $90 pp for East African Residents depending on one’s Nationality.

There are different family groups for Mountain gorillas at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. There are four sector such as the Nkuringo, Ruhija, Buhoma, and Rushaga Sector with fully habituated gorillas which are all open to tourists.

Itinerary

Day 1: Gorilla Trekking and Departure

Following your early morning coffee, for transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park; you will be picked up early morning by our tour guide at 5:30 AM from your hotel in Kabale or Kisoro.

Reaching just in time for the morning briefing on Do’s and Don’ts when trekking for the mountain gorillas.

After registration and gorilla family group Allocation in groups of 8 Individuals, and with hiking gear  such as drinking water, lunch, walking sticks, camera, and hired a porter for backpack. You will embark on the amazing mountain gorilla trekking Expedition.

The trek may last from 2 hours to several hours depending on the day’s movement of the mountain gorillas through the dense tropical rain forest. Through the forest, you will be guided by armed park rangers but you need to be healthy  in good physical condition for this hike as it becomes a bit challenging on rainy days; hiking through muddy slippery floors.

On locating the gorillas, enjoy an hour’s stay with the shy giants; enjoy them as they continue with their daily activities under your watch and take as many photographs as you can for this unexplainable moment.

After this amazing encounter, you return to the starting point for your certificate of participation and later set off for the drive back to Kabale or Kisoro.
