This one-day Akagera National Park Safari offers an exciting opportunity to explore Rwanda’s only savannah national park. The tour includes a thrilling game drive and a scenic boat cruise on Lake Ihema, giving visitors a chance to see diverse wildlife, including the Big Five, and enjoy the stunning landscapes of the park.
You will be picked up by our company tour guide as early as 5:00AM from your hotel in Kigali for the 2-3 hours’ drive to Akagera National Park. Reaching at around 7:30M – depending on traffic.
Once here, you will be briefed by the park rangers about the safari and later embark on your morning game drive through the park; Looking out for elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and predators such as lions and leopards.
Have lunch in the afternoon and later, embark on a Boat Cruise at Lake Ihema for aquatic wildlife like hippos, crocodiles etc (It lasts for 1 hour).
Later, exit the park and drive back to Kigali for drop off at the hotel or Airport for departure flight as per plans.
