2 Days Gorilla Trek & Bisoke Hike
Days Rwanda Gorilla Trek and Mt Bisoke Hike for Both mountain gorilla trekking and Mt Bisoke Hike do take place from Volcanoes National Park in Musanze province.
Mt Bisoke is one of the 8 volcanoes forming up the Virunga ranges that stretch from Rwanda, Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Mt Bisoke Hike
Gorilla Safaris Consultants will pick you up very early in the morning (4:30AM) from Kigali and bring you to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze province.
With your cup of coffee, engage in the morning briefing and registration at Kinigi park offices by 7:00 AM and later proceed to the head trail – the starting point for the Bisoke hike; with your lunch box and porter, set off for the hike up Mt Bisoke Crater Lake. This hike is determined by the speed of walks and number of stops made.
Enjoy lunch on the slopes of Mt Bisoke before hiking to the top, later, return to the base for your transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight at;

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trek and Departures
Rise early and retrieve the Kinigi park offices for morning briefing on the mountain gorilla trekking guidelines before engaging in this wonderful hike.
It takes between an hour and 8 hours to meet the gorillas; enjoy your stay with the gentle giants , taking photographs and videos and later return to the starting point for your drive back to Kigali to either a hotel or Airport.
