Detailed Itinerary
Start early with pickup from Entebbe or Kampala for a scenic drive to Bwindi. Pass through the Kigezi Highlands, known as “Africa’s Switzerland” for its terraced hills and green landscapes. If time allows, take a short cultural tour to meet the Batwa pygmies, learning about their traditional forest life and customs.

Today, embark on your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi’s dense rainforest. After a briefing, head into the forest with experienced guides to track a gorilla family. The trek may last 2-8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Once you find them, spend one hour observing the gorillas up close.

After breakfast, drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, with optional stops at the Equator for photos and souvenirs. Arrive by late afternoon, ending your memorable gorilla trek.
