Detailed 4-Day Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kazinga Channel Launch Cruise

You will be picked-up from Kampala or Entebbe early in the morning for the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, have a stopover at the Equator for photography and chance to learn about this geographical wonder.

In the afternoon, have lunch and continue with your drive. Once here,  embark on the Kazinga Channel Launch Cruise, a boat ride offering sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous bird species. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Start the day with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, exploring the Kasenyi plains; watching out for lions, leopards, buffalos, and antelope.

After the game drive, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to over half of the world’s mountain gorillas; driving through the Ishasha Sector, home to rare tree-climbing lions. Dine and Rest at your lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Adventure – Batwa Cultural Visit

Rise early, enjoy breakfast and report to the park headquarters for morning briefing and registration. Here, rangers provide guidance on gorilla trekking and its importance in conservation.

Later, Venture into Bwindi’s dense forest to track a gorilla family. Spend a magical hour observing these majestic primates in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural visit to the Batwa community, Uganda’s indigenous forest people. Learn about their unique way of life, traditional dances, and survival skills. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 4: Return to Kampala/Entebbe and Departure
