This 4-day Uganda Gorillas and Chimpanzee tour, takes you to Uganda’s top national parks: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for mountain gorillas and Kibale Forest National Park.

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received and welcomed by our tour guide who will later transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park; passing through Uganda’s lush countryside, tea plantations, and local villages.
Kibale is the renowned “primate capital of the world,” thanks to its abundant primate population. After breakfast, you’ll head to the Kanyanchu park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking. Later, embark on chimpanzee tracking exercise through the dense forest. On finding them, enjoy an hour’s interaction with these creatures.
Following lunch, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, known for its mountain gorillas. This 5-6 hour journey offers breathtaking views of Uganda’s landscape, including terraced hills and dense forests. Dinner and overnight stay at;

After an early breakfast, you’ll attend a briefing at the Bwindi park headquarters, where rangers provide safety instructions and guide lines on gorilla trekking exercise. Then, you’ll set off into the dense forest, tracking one of the park’s gorilla families. The trek can take between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location, but the reward is immense.
Once you find the gorilla family, you’ll have a full hour to observe these magnificent creatures as they interact, play, and go about their daily routines. The experience of seeing these endangered primates in their natural environment is truly awe-inspiring.
In the afternoon, you can take a guided walk to the Batwa Pygmy community, where you’ll learn about their culture and history as the original inhabitants of the Bwindi forest. Dine and rest at your lodge.

Upon rising, have breakfast at leisure and later, set off for the drive back to Entebbe or Kigali.
You will have lunch and even make a brief stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and souvenir shopping or Gisozi Genocide if drop off is in Kigali.
On arrival, you will proceed to either a hotel or Airport for departure flight to next destination.
