The Rwenzori ranges lie at the southern pole of the Equator (at its hottest) and yet Uganda’s only snow-capped mountain at the Margherita peak.
Mountain Rwenzori entails the great Mountain Rwenzori National Park which is believed to be such a natural wonder with so much to offer to its visitors alongside the hiking safaris.

If you have more time and wish to hike to the top of Margherita then you need to opt for the high attitude hikes which will bring you beyond the 4000meters above sea level to 5109 meters and this can be best be covered in 5 – 7 days of hiking safari.
